Account Director, Creative Communications

Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:
• Research clients and competitors, know where they are weak in communications terms and with the
reporting/sustainability/digital directors devise 3-year development plans
• Discuss and question all client briefs
• Present project management excellence in pitches
• Hold and manage client meetings with senior client team members and broaden business base where possible
• Manage client expectations and take responsibility for key deliverables
• Be pro-active and always one step ahead
• Write creative briefs and supply all relevant background information to allow the design team to think around the brief
• Give your design opinion but allow the design team to resolve design output
• Meet weekly and talk regularly with your project teams to ensure we can deliver excellent client service (within identified and agreed timeframes and approved budgets)
• Ensure everyone in your project team knows what is expected of them and their timeline for delivery
• Create a team spirit whereby individuals care about the project
• Follow the workflow process, ensuring that T&Cs, Letters of Engagement are always signed
• Supervise the project process with each team member and enable them to do their jobs to the best of their ability
